   	KDE 4.4.5 is presently running well, and 4.8.3 on the   
   MIB 2010.3 was a severe pain.   Maybe that will be fixed   
   soon and they might produce an ISO that can be tested but after   
   the last weekend I don't think I want to do that but if it   
   is a live disk I might try that.
