   I believe Old English had those, but most had vanished by Middle   
   English.  I learned about them when I studied Latin.

   Yep!  Or the comment on "Veni, vidi, vici" in the book "1066 and All   
   That" (the book that gave us the expression Good Thing, capitalized).   
      
   Well, back to checking out distros for migration.  I think the question   
   is, which set of flaws can I live with? :-)
