I am looking for the file       defining which hash is to be used. A quick grep ':\$1\$' /etc/passwd       showed several users using MD5. Mandriva 2011 and Mageia 2 are using       Blowfish as default hash.              I had those users click up a terminal and run        passwd       to get the hash set to blowfish.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
