   What is your issue with KDE?  I have used that DE, but currently run   
   LXDE.  I agree with you that Pan is superior to KNode, especially in   
   filtering unwanted posters.   
   What do you use for your DE?  Everyone uses what they feel comfortable   
   using.  Try and let people make their own choices and stop being so   
   inflexible.
