   Well, I was trying for a catchier title than "online security," and I   
   thought posing it as a question might inspire more people to reply to   
   it.  I'd say that it's a question of how much risk is acceptable.  Once   
   that's known, it should be possible to figure out how much security is   
   enough.  I suppose the technical term would be "threat model".
