   Yeah, I tend to install packages I'm curious about, and don't get around   
   to uninstalling the ones I decide not to use.  I know I installed at   
   least 3 OCR programs and about a half dozen FLAC/MP3 tagging programs,   
   one of which I decided to use.

   I know, but it's easier for me to use a larger partition so the "test"   
   install can become the "production" one without reinstalling it.

   Yep, mainly because I don't store movies or a lot of photos.  As I type   
   this, I'm running badblocks on a 20 GB PATA HD, and I realized how small   
   that is by today's standards.
