   Will that run on Mageia?  There was an ongoing problem with Mageia shipping   
   Python 2.7 and VB (Victoria Bitter here) using dated libraries as well.  My   
   fix was to install python 2.6 from  Mandriva and a needed library from my   
   Adobe Reader download, then installing the VB RPM with a sledge-hammer.   
      
   I am currently running 4.1.12 from Mageia 2 repos.  It will do what I need.
