   	Aware of those matters but can anyone tell me the   
   cure, beside removal of Opera, for Opera intercepting all the   
   calls that should be going to the default browser, Firefox?   
      
   	Still having problems with that one.  Maybe a reset will   
   cure it? But removing the installed version of Opera gave me an   
   update to Opera which I have also removed.  Or does Mandriva   
   have a deal with Opera to make it the default browser over-riding   
   the settings in KDE's Default Applications.   
      
   	Because this is a right pain in the perineum.
