   Thanks VERY much, Martin!  "Batteries in a Portable World" seems to   
   cover selection, use, charging, and maintenance of all the types of   
   reusable batteries consumers might encounter at the time that was   
   written (it says "Copyright 2001" at the bottom).  I've already   
   bookmarked the site.  In fact, http://batteryuniversity.com/ )the one   
   battery site I'd already bookmarked) seems to be based on the book   
   "Batteries in a Portable World."
