I named my /.pan directory .pan.bak and got Pan to recreate the       directory. One by one I copied across the old Pan files and, as these       things will do, it was the very last file I copied that b0rked it again.              The file 'tasks.nzb' must have somehow become corrupted when the power       cut out momentarily. I deleted it and voila, Pan was running just as well       as it had ever done.              > Of course you'll have       > to configure it again.              That's what I wanted to avoid doing, but your reply helped set me on the       right track.
