   When I answered yes to your question, I assumed you clicked up a terminal,   
   logged in as root and ran   
   mcc->System->Manage users on system   
      
   If you edited a group file, then that was not quite the whole story.  :(   
   You also have to munge gshadow.   
      
   I highly recommend running mcc from a root terminal, delete chris from   
   video, then adding chris back to video and have chris log out/in.   
      
   That may not fix your camera problem but running "grpck -r" as root   
   should come out clean.
