However, I tried both MCC and (AFAICT)       the plasma applet, both the Linux driver and the Windows XP driver with       ndiswrapper, both Mageia's own /etc/hosts file and mine (Mageia insists       on putting "127.0.0.1 eris.aplomb.invalid eris" at the top of       /etc/hosts), and so far nothing has worked. I'm temporarily stumped,       but fortunately that's a test system. Last night I also installed       Fedora 17 on it, and got the wireless network working right away using       their standard GUI setup tool. If I want to get into this further, I       think it would be a question for the Mageia group.              >> My other       >> digicam uses 2 AAs, and one of the setup options is "alkaline" or       >> "NiMH". Alkalines are 1.5 volts, NiMH is 1.2.              I tried RTFM and it explicitly said that setting only affects the       "charge remaining" indicator.              Adam       --       Registered Linux User #536473              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
