   I would have to guess performance would be like any other application   
   competing for resource plus VirtualBox overhead.   
      
   In my 4 cpu system, guest performance feels normal and "top" looks about right.   
   Host VB tasks cpu usage was around 12% whether the guest was running   
   top or not.
