For       example, if a native install of Haphazard Linux runs at 100% speed, how       fast (very roughly) would it run under VirtualBox (with 100% performance       cap)? Any ideas if its performance cap is less than 100%?              > Disadvantages,       > Helps to have about a gig of spare memory for each guest running,              I recently bought a new machine with 8 GB RAM (max 16) to head off the       "secure boot" problem, should there be one. My previous box (limited to       1 GB) is currently being used for native installs of various distros.              Update to Warren: Not all distro installers will find all the Linux       installs. Some seem to (e.g. Fedora), others (e.g. Mandriva) don't and       many will need to be added to the GRUB menu with the distro tools and/or       manually.              Adam       --       Registered Linux User #536473              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
