   Just fyi.  I'm now using an ASUS Sabertooth 990FX motherboard, which has   
   a UEFI "bios", but does not appear to support secure boot.  Nothing in the   
   setup   
   screens, or the manual about it.   
      
   So the concern isn't going to be whether or not the board has UEFI, but whether   
   it has secure boot, enabled by default, with no way to disable it.
