   At the back end of 2010 there was a thread on the subject of UPSs; I   
   think Adam and David Hodgins both admitted to using apcupsd. I'm trying   
   to move to Mandriva 2011 on 2 machines that I want to have controlled by   
   my UPS. I can't get through the make process on either the 32 or the 64   
   bit versions of 2011 - Adam Kropelin reckons that for some reason it's   
   not linking libstdc++ right. My question is: are there other users of   
   apcupsd under Mandriva 2011, and if so how did you get it to work?
