   There's a script called kvm-ok written by a couple of guys at   
   Canonical that checks whether the CPU and BIOS are set up to do   
   full (64-bit) virtualization.  It's part of a package called   
   cpu-checker.  There's a companion script called check-bios-nx for   
   a BIOS-controled nx bit.  I don't have an URL handy, but Google   
   would probably lead to it.
