Mentioned before (I think) I tried Fedora several years ago. Didn't care
for it - too bleeding edge for my taste. And I was on dialup at the
time, so couldn't keep up with updates as I should have. I was MUCH
happier when I returned to Mandrake. (Yep, it was THAT long ago.) A
friend of mine, the one who had been using his broadband connection to
download install CDs for me, said he wasn't surprised. He said, "Some
   people are just Mandrake people."

I can get you a ton of oats for around $150, (Hmm. Haven't checked this
year's price yet. With the dryness, it could be MUCH higher.) but you'll
have to take care of the shipping.
