   Thanks for the commonsense advice, Bill.  No, I really don't expect   
   anything like that to happen.  OTOH once the guest has left, that's out   
   of my control.  The person could accidentally send the key to someone   
   else, or the laptop could get stolen and the thief could do anything.

   Yes, it would be overkill for someone who had a lot of visitors.  OTOH   
   I've had DSL (and this wireless router) for five years now, and since   
   then haven't even had a single guest who would have had any interest in   
   connecting to my DSL.  My only guests seems to be neighbors or other   
   local people who'd rather wait until they get back home.

   Definitely!  Given my lifestyle, I've decided that changing my PSK   
   /only/ when guests leave, at most once every few years, wouldn't be   
   enough.  My plan is to change it every month or two... or would you   
   recommend some other interval?  I've noticed that of my neighbors within   
   Wi-Fi reception distance, mine seems to be the only system that's up   
   most of the time, which I assume would make it the likeliest target for   
   crackers.
