   Since the nonexistent mysite.verizon.net/adam708 returns a generic error   
   message (or maybe it's from my browser), does that mean that VZ no   
   longer redirects?  I don't recall opting out in the five years I've had   
   Verizon DSL.  I gather your state was sold to Frontier.  I'm in NYS (not   
   NYC), so if they have to sell off by states mine would probably be one   
   of the last ones to go.
