FWIW, the Logitech MK300 USB cordless keyboard/mouse combo I bought a
year or so (2?) ago from Staples has been excellent and trouble-free. I
like the feel of the keyboard, and the mouse is very easy on batteries.
I put an aging set of nimh rechargeables that wouldn't last any time at
all in my camera in the mouse, and they ran for six months or better
before needing a recharge. Only annoyance I have is the keyboard uses
AAA's instead of AA's. I don't have rechargeables in that size. But,
alkalines last a long time. Unfortunately, the MK300 is discontinued. I
believe it's been replaced by the MK320.
