   Today I checked out the Logitech ML320 wireless keyboard/mouse at   
   Staples, but decided I preferred the keyboard I'm now using and the   
   mouse I just bought.  In fact, all the keyboards on display there were   
   the relatively flat kind that I don't like.  I think my ideal keyboard   
   would require almost the stroke of a typewriter. :-)   
      
   However, I'll probably be following another of your suggestions.  This   
   computer (the one I bought in June) has AFAICT a BIOS bug that disables   
   the CPU's hardware virtualization.  HP acknowledged there's a problem   
   but wants me to send the computer back for (free in-warranty) servicing.   
     I'll move my test system (previous computer) to the LR during that,   
   and to get something usable quickly I'll install a familiar-looking   
   distro.  This seems like a good time to try Mageia 2, since it /will/ be   
   a wired connection.
