   If TJ could provide the package names, you could use gftp (nice   
   gui) or ftp to go to a mirror and get the packages that way,   
   using an OS that currently has a working connection.  Put them in   
   a directory by themselves, to make things easy.   
      
   Then, boot to Magei 2, mount the partition the packages are on,   
   and use   
   urpmi /path/to/packages/*  to install the things.
