|    OT: Strange video phenomenon    |
|    28 Sep 12 17:28:04    |
From: grimble@nomail.afraid.org              I don't know how to diagnose this problem:       I use the BBC Radio player a lot under Firefox (15.0.1, 64 bit). One of       the components of the displayed HTML is a rectangular panel containing       the play/pause button, a loading/live indication and a volume slider.       This panel alone is visible through other windows eg KWrite if placed       over the Radio Player. If I minimise the Radio Player, the panel is       still visible through other windows even though it is not visible       against the blue Mandriva background. I wanted to use KSnapshot to take       screen shots of the problem to illustrate this phenomenon, but the       snapshot shows everything EXCEPT the panel - just a white space (see       dropbox link below). Similarly a snapshot of the KWrite window over the       panel does NOT contain the panel. The panel disappears when the Radio       Player is closed. This behaviour is not limited to one area of the screen.       I think the problem is in the BBC's HTML, but I would like confirmation       before I go into print to them.       http://dl.dropbox.com/u/109118552/snapshot10.png       --       Grimble       Registered Linux User #450547       Running KDE 4.6.5 on 2.6.39.4-5.1-desktop kernel.       Mandriva Linux release 2011.0 (Official) for x86_64              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
