   Thanks for your reply, Aragorn, which prompted me to look at the Flash   
   control panel. There was a message that it couldn't find   
   /usr/lib64/kde4/kcm_adobe_flash_player.so   
   so I chased through the places where plugins should be and found they   
   hadn't been properly installed. Problem gone. Hooray!   
   (Ksnapshot now picks up the whole window).
