   And as Bill mentioned, the various Mageia connection indicators aren't   
   always reliable either.  I won't say these rule out Mageia 2 for me, but   
   it's not a promising start.

   Lower priority for me too.  Priority will go to getting my main system   
   reconfigured once it gets back here, using the same Mandriva 2011.0 it   
   had before.  If you'll settle for a CRT monitor, try Goodwill or   
   similar.  The local (countywide) Freecycle list here also offers a   
   monitor every week or two on average.

   I don't (and may never) have specifics for "rating" distros, but   
   available support is a big one.  This NG alone is a big point in favor   
   of Mandriva.
