|    Laptop lid switch    |

From: me@privacy.net              Hi,              I had a conversation with one or two people in here, particularly unruh       way back in April about how to get my laptop to do a suspend-to-disk       rather than a log-out when the lid is closed on the laptop.              He suggested replacing the contents of the script:              /etc/acpi/events/lm_lid              with this:              event=button[ /]lid       action= /etc/acpi/actions/pm-fallback-hibernate              I've tried this, and I still get a log-out.              Does anyone have any ideas what I may be doing wrong? Is this maybe a       permissions problem? And if so, is there a way around it?              This is Mdv2010.1, if that helps. It's not a major thing, it would just       be nice to have the thing go to sleep when I close the lid!              Ta!              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
