   I had a temperamental old 20" CRT monitor here that I got working - for   
   now. (Notice I said "working," not "fixed.") In the process of getting   
   three or four months-worth of updates now. 569 packages, including a new   
   kernel, KDE, libreoffice and lots of other stuff. This will take a   
   while, my guess is 60-90 minutes or so.
