   (since the morning of October 19) in the "OT: Off-Topic" thread in   
   a.o.l.mandriva?  There's a discussion about using the distro vs. the   
   vendor versions of things like Firefox/Thunderbird and VirtualBox, and   
   I'd especially appreciate your comments there.  Everyone else seems to   
   be on the "distro" side of that, and from your posts here you're clearly
