Stand alone might be different. Been a while       since I read the specifics, but the way I remember it, if you have both       installed, only the first on the list will be used. Also, IIRC, Oracle's       installation instructions specifically tell you to remove any other java       plugin before installing the new one.              But it would be best to check for yourself.
