   "eris" is a Compaq SR5210NX which was introduced Aug. '07 and came with   
   Vista and 1 GB RAM, proving that the Vista sticker only meant that it

   Maybe what you need is something like the top left on

   radio 24/7.  I'll be listening to mine if there's no electricity.

   Sounds like you're about as prepared as you can be.  I'm more concerned   
   about flooding.  The runoff from Irene last year soaked my floor and   
   anything on it and humidity indoors was close to 100%.
