If I hadn't been following the news, I would       have thought it was just another heavy rainstorm, the kind we get once       or twice a year. This morning I looked at the creek (the one that       overflowed and soaked my place after Hurricane Irene last year) and it       wasn't even higher. The more rural parts of Dutchess County had wind       damage and power losses, but that's not unusual either. Farther south,       NYC and especially Philadelphia, there was major damage. Good thing for       both of us that it hit land around Cape May, NJ instead of farther north.              > Latest predictions for what's left of the storm are for it to       > go more or less around Syracuse, and head into Canada through Buffalo.              http://www.weather.com/weather/hurricanecentral/tracker/2012/sandy              predicts it going through Buffalo and Toronto, missing Syracuse.              Adam       --       Registered Linux User #536473              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
