|    Updateing MD2011    |

From: Daniel47@teranews.com              HP 6730b Laptop - Win7/MD2009/MD2010/MD2011/MG2 - SeaMonkey Internet Suite              A couple of days ago, I posted in alt-os-linux asking for tips on       d/l'ing the updates for MD2011.              This afternoon, I connected my Laptop to my sister's cable system to try       update MD2011. MD2011 connected to the WAN a lot easier than Win7, which       (pleasantly) surprised me. I then went into M.C.C., selected Update your       system, selected a mirror in Australia, and after a time was told there       were a heap of updates to install. I selected "Update" and was told       there were 269 updates available.              I selected "Update" and a screen came up stating:-              Change Medium       Please insert the medium named "Main Media"              and gave buttons for "Cancel" and "OK"              Pressing "OK" did nothing, or, I suppose, the same screen just kept       displaying.              If I selected "Cancel", a screen displayed, stating:-              Installation Failed       There was a problem during the installation       Medium "Main Media" is not available              and I just had an "OK" button.              What have I done wrong??              Daniel       (P.S. whilst I've been typing this, I think I might have updated my       MD2009 (5 pkgs).!!)              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
