   I am getting closer and closer to re-installing my Linux OS's because,   
   as shown above, MD2009 doesn't boot and, in a different twig of this   
   thread Jim Beard is helping my with my updated MD2011 fiasco. Now MD2011   
   just boots to a blank screen, with an unblinking cursor in the top left   
   corner of screen! And, last night, I found out my MD2010.1 and MG2   
   (un-updated) installations have the same problem!   
      
   Might just drag out the DVD's and try an "upgrade" over the top of the   
   updates first, to see if I can get back to square one!
