   Might be the discrepancy between showing the storage capacity in decimal   
   or binary values.  Manufacturers advertise the capacity in decimal   
   values (where 1 KB = 1'000 Bytes and 1 MB = 1'000 KB) whereas GNU/Linux   
   shows the capacity in binary values (where 1 KB = 1'024 Bytes and 1 MB =   
   1'024 KB).   
      
   Another explanation /may/ be - but I'm just wagering an educated guess -   
   that the ext4 journal would take up less space than the NTFS journal and   
   trees.
