Mine is /usr/lib64/mozilla/plugins/libflashplayer.so and is not link.
Since this is Mageia. There is a flash plugin rpm that takes care of the
   install.

Wherever you like. I keep both installed in case mozill.org's copy does
not play well and I do not want to lose any plugins by uninstalling
   distribution's copy.

You aught to do what I do. Create an install_firefox script that
does whatever you normally do by hand. It won't forget to install that
   soft link.
