   I've seen it, too. My mother's birthday was on Christmas Eve. She didn't   
   seem to mind the combination gifts so much. What bothered her was that   
   for a while there she rarely got anything that could be considered a   
   "summertime" gift.   
      
   Her father was born on Christmas Day. And he passed away very early one   
   Good Friday morning. The coincidence was not lost upon the minister of   
   our church, either.
