   How many BIOS updates are there? If you mean each BIOS change, then
   maybe it is a procedure problem.

   No idea about Mageia 2, but Mageia 3 found a few partitions.
   $ grep uuid /etc/fstab_vinstall
   UUID=E858B4EB58B4BA20 /media/win_c ntfs-3g defaults 0 0

   If I want to boot Win8, shudder, I'll navigate to the boot override
   selection. Spent about 2 days in bios hell trying to make sense of
   what it takes to set it to the good old days boot sequence. I still do
   not know how to do it. Second time I managed to get it right, I
   stopped and have not been back to document what I have/need for just
   booting Linux the old fashion way.
