If you mean each BIOS change, then       maybe it is a procedure problem.              > I AM bothered about not being able to install Mageia in a separate       > partition on the same drive because of GPT partition, the Mageia       > installer does not know there are any partitions on the drive       > already.              No idea about Mageia 2, but Mageia 3 found a few partitions.       $ grep uuid /etc/fstab_vinstall       UUID=E858B4EB58B4BA20 /media/win_c ntfs-3g defaults 0 0       UUID=07378A593F364047 /media/win_d ntfs-3g defaults 0 0       UUID=4614B60114B5F451 /media/win_e ntfs-3g defaults 0 0                     > If I boot into already running Mageia on a different drive, gparted       > shows all partitions on the drive I want to use.       >       > So I can't dual boot Win7 and Mageia. Spent about 2 days in bios hell trying to make sense of       what it takes to set it to the good old days boot sequence. I still do       not know how to do it. Second time I managed to get it right, I       stopped and have not been back to document what I have/need for just       booting Linux the old fashion way.              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
