You might take a look at       that, and follow any responses it gets. Dealing with a dongle       seems to be treacherous.              I vaguely remember posts on dongle problems in Australia a few       years ago. That may have been you, of course, but if not try       http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?q=& and search       alt.os.linux.mandriva for dongle and wireless for maybe 2005 to       the present.
