Only not so many as before because of all the       OSes in the world they picked Windows 8 and it is widely       known to be the sucky-est Windows update since before       the turn of the millennium.               The fees paid by various organizations to MS are       one time matters afaik,               If you want to run Linux without secure boot no       one is stopping you as there are millions of computers       available without it on the second hand market or at       computer recycling centers. And as soon as the procedure       for shutting it off are clearly understood the rest of       the x86 computing devices will be available as well       which is exactly what is being done by the Linux Foundation       and the various distribution paying Microsoft for       a signing key.               bliss              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
