I just searched for your       device, and Google strongly suggests you mean the Huawei e169, or the       e1691. Not "Haiwei." If so, both of these are 3G modems. My extremely       limited wireless experience is with two wifi devices, no doubt a       different kettle of fish entirely. So, my above advice has limited, if       any value for you. I urge you to consider it accordingly.              Sorry about that. My search turned up some advice for getting both       devices working with Ubuntu, but of course those instructions are       probably also of limited value for Mageia and the Mandrivas. But maybe       it could lead you to something more useful.              TJ              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
