Several different brands, in       fact. I happen to own one, an Encore       I-forget-the-model-number-right-now, purchased from Newegg. I noticed       that you said "USB dongle," and believed you had a device similar to mine.              Another FYI, the term "wireless" includes wifi; it doesn't exclude it.       My ISP provides service via a "fixed wireless" system, which is       essentially a wifi network covering several square miles, and has       nothing to do with cellular or its relatives. It's a way of providing       broadband service to rural areas not served by cable or DSL. But it *IS*       "wireless."              A recommendation: In future descriptions, use the term "3G," or whatever       "G" is appropriate for your device. Something to identify exactly which       part of the "wireless" spectrum it uses. And mentioning the brand and       model when you start a thread can only help.              TJ              --- SoupGate-Win32 v1.05        * Origin: you cannot sedate... all the things you hate (1:229/2)    |
