   Security by obscurity.  "Sure, we knew of that vulnerability, but we   
   didn't fix it because nobody else had noticed yet."   
      
   All big corporations in the proprietary software sector do it - the one   
   in Redmond leading the way, of course, but Oracle is Yet Another Evil   
   Empire, so you can expect the same behavior from them. ;-)
