   I have always used the free PDF viewers - I believe it was called   
   KGhostView in previous versions of KDE - and I am now using Okular as   
   well.  Works like a charm.   
      
   Adobe Reader has always been very slow on my machines, and (in my   
   personal opinion) very impractical to maneuver around in, plus that   
   Adobe has always treated GNU/Linux rather like a stepchild.  I don't see   
   why I would use their proprietary crapware over a FLOSS product which   
   works much better. ;-)
