"New" card arrived a few days ago, was installed, and worked
out-of-the-box with the b43 driver. Except that it was just the shipping
box. No commercial box, no antenna, no driver CD - nothing but the card
inside a static bag, wrapped in foam for protection. Good thing I didn't
need any of that other stuff.

Was an OEM card I expect, and while described as "new" showed signs of
having been mounted into a PC at some point. Being somebody who likes to
give the benefit of the doubt, I'm going to assume the card was pulled
from an unsold PC that was dismantled. Description does say the seller
is a surplus guy, has "more than 10 available," and has sold 68. Could
be "unused" would have been a better description than "new," but I'm not
going to quibble and I don't really care if it was used once or twice.
As long as it works, I'm happy.
