   It's in the kernel.org kernel, but the question is if the distribution   
   used the entire kernel, or merely cherry-picked.   ALL distributions   
   modify source to suit their interpretation of what is wanted.  Some   
   include features that were not in the source, and some do not include   
   all because it conflicts with some other modification they made.

   Again - they have to test that improvements don't clash with the
