   Yup, I'll second that.

   That I do not know. Suse, redhat, fedora, mandriva, mageia and   
   who knows who else is headed that way. Only good news I see from it,   
   would be standardization of unit files which would have to work before   
   developer/coder can run a go/no go test.

   I understand, but you might be running an app which nobody has tested   
   yet. I have been running my three systems with betas and for the most   
   part they have been pretty solid. What problems that were show   
   stoppers had workarounds within a day or so.

   Yup. can not argue there. Doing a  " systemctl --all --full | sort "   
   is somewhat daunting.   
      
   Mageia 2 end of support is in November. Looking at   
   https://wiki.mageia.org/en/Mageia_3_development   
   suggests to me, everyone needs to test their hardware and the apps   
   they use now.
