Looking at a few of them on Mangeia 2, there is nothing about runlevel
in them. There are a bunch of directories
   default.target.wants/ getty.target.wants/
   basic.target.wants/ graphical.target.wants/
   bluetooth.target.wants/ multi-user.target.wants/
   dbus-org.bluez.service@ sockets.target.wants/
   dbus-org.freedesktop.Avahi.service@ syslog.service@
   default.target@
with links inside each to the some of the /lib/systemd/system files. But
of course it has nothing which tells you of the link between those and
   runlevels.

They took something which was a bit klunky, but clear and made something
which maybe less klunky but totally obscure, and thus HIGHLY susceptible
   to bugs and misconfigurations.
   Sheesh.

Anyway, enough rant. I guess others have ranted and been totally
   ignored already.

Where is Linus when we need him.

I install stuff that is ready for use. I do not have the time to debug
(I have done enough of that) but need it to work.

And how do I interpret that? I have noidea what "basic.target.wants"
means. What is basic? What is a target? What does "wants" mean. Too cute
by far. And a complete ratsnest of cross links jumping all over the
   filesystem.
