   Personally, I would find posting Mandriva questions in a Mageia group   
   a little bit abusive. I would think you might find a few of those   
   experts still have the Mandriva group in their reader, if they plan on   
   supporting Mandriva users.   
      
   comp.os.linux.setup might be better. In either case, always provide   
   distribution and version when posting questions.   
      
   Mageia has definitely moved away from the auto mount method used by   
   Mandriva that the OP is using.
