   All distributions have.  Earlier, automounting was taken care of by   
   hald.  Nowadays, that is all handled via udisks and dbus.   
      
   (Note: I personally don't like all this "automagic" stuff.  It's all way   
   too arcane to debug, and I'm not exactly a fan of all the gratuitous   
   privilege escalation stuff associated with the ability to automount   
   anything.)
